Missing

Nat probably doesn’t know this. I didn’t go to her surprise birthday party partly because I was exhausted after seeing the CBC Sunway guys for five consecutive days in a row. The real reason was because I was afraid she might not talk to me in a large crowd. What’s the point of attending somebody’s birthday if I couldn’t have a nice communication with him?

But strangely Nat felt my absence as Loretta later told me. I did sincerely wish she had a good time celebrating it.
