Nat was Quiet

It was a rather awakard Sunday morning. Nat was exceptionally quiet today. I tried to get the reason for her quiet face but she didn’t want to tell me. So I took her for a ride, hoping she’ll feel better.

Right after church Nat suddenly brightened up. She was back to herself again. Telling me and Samantha on the way to lunch how nice Eagles are and why she likes them. The mystery continued ...

Big Tears

It was the first time I saw Nat cry.

We just finished my ‘last’ cell with the TrailBlazers. The following week I’ll be flying to Melbourne for a one-year exchange.

Nat was sitting at one corner with big tears flowing out of her. Some of her friends were trying to comfort her but I didn’t know what went on.

Then her friends started to tell me Nat really liked me and she felt extremely sad because I was leaving. Strangely I never did believed them. Took Nat home that day puzzled.
